About Kraig
Kraig Lieb has spent the last 20 years after graduation from Penn State University (1984) working, living & traveling extensively throughout South & Southeast Asia, as well as North & Central America.
Kraig's photographs have appeared in the New York Times, San Francisco Chronicle, Wealth Manager and Student Traveler magazines, and in advertising for Marriot, Kodak, Shell and Yahoo. For the last seven years (1998 - 2005) he has worked with Lonely Planet travel guides, with his photography appearing in 44 of their books, including 3 covers, Central America, Yellowstone and Bangkok. For four years in the mid-90's (1994 - 98) he was based in Vietnam while working with Image Design / Visionary Viet Nam, one of the larger postcard & greeting card companies in the country. During the late 80's & early 90's, he worked in Thailand, Nepal & Guatemala. Kraig's work can be found on postcards, greeting cards, calendars, magazines & books throughout Asia, North America, Central America & Europe. Kraig runs Purple Moon Publishing. which currently publishes postcards in Guatemala and Northern California. He lives in Northern California with his wife, Phuong.
